Autumn Almanac

Today I went photo hunting with my Photography school to a Holland cemetery in Jakarta hehe (Emma, u must bring me to Japanese cemetery when I get back haha).. and it was extremely interesting and fun! Well the theme is pre-wedding... and so we're supposed to be shooting a 'going-to-be-married couple' (who isn't a real couple.. they are just models haha) to take a upclose shot. Though the weather was quite terrible (cloudy and gloomy), we managed to stay upbeat, and I must say that I'm really happy with some of the photos I took. Actually the Photography session made me realise that I sooo need to start investing in lenses hahaha. As my lens is a standard type, I really needed to be quite close to the couple to take a upclose shot. So I shall invest on a telephoto lens.. and I'd love to get a fisheye lens toooooooo :D (I'm more excited for the fisheye lens haha).

Well okay there's actually another thing that makes me happy during the photoshoot. Which I shall not write here hahahahaha.

There'll be another photog lesson tomorrow. Hopefully it'll be interesting (content-wise and ____-wise) haha.

Kupo!

Yes, I've become obsessed again with Final Fantasy -.- I am currently playing FF III in Nintendo DS and FF X in PS 2. I kinda missed those final fantasy playing days... so I guessed that's one reason I'm playing those two (by the way, I've never played those 2 games previously). Beside.. moogles are soooo cute.

Anyway, today I made a wish. It's quite a lame wish. I want to ride a motorcycle!! Hahahaha. Mainly because I realised today when riding motorcycle.. you really experience the crowded feeling, which would be a different kind experience from riding a car and having some spaces around you. So yeah I am kinda curious about riding motorcycle.

It's been raining like madd in Indo.. which means flood all over the place lol. The adventurous side of me kinda want to experience going through floods in car hahahah.. but my heart knows that that will be a tremendously painful experience hahaha.

Interestingly, in the photography classes, a lot of nude photographs have been shown lately. Well, I'm okay with nude photographs, as along as they are done tastefully. I totally agree with what the photographers said about how nude photography is all about playing light. Front light is a no no for nude photography... and "Open your legs!" would be a really really bad command to say hahah. I wonder how differently guys see pornography and erotic art hahaha. And I also wonder the feelings when a male photographer is taking pictures of a naked model. Hmmm. Actually the instructor today answered the 2nd question. He said that one's decision on doing nude photography depends on whether the person's brain and heart thinks purely alike.

March to Aida

My life has been really sedentary of late.. and filled with a few firsts. The last 10 days were the first time I'm ever alone with my maid and helper at home. And today, for the first time, I travelled out of my house by myself using Bajaj hahahaa (Bajaj is some old-fashioned, unique.. but FUN mode of transportation).. since my driver didn't come today.. and my brother is soo unreliable haha. Well actually it was only to church.. which is about 5 mins ride. Still, it's a first haha. Another first is taking care of my brother's shop alone haha. It was much more bearable than I expected it would be haha. I thought I'll be rotting in the shop or something.. and I managed to sell a few shirts with my beginner marketing expertise hahaha (if there is even any).

I watched a few interesting films in the past few days, namely Brokeback Mountain, Fracture, Last King of Scotland, Mean Girls and L4yer Cake haha. Okie, out of the movies in the list, Brokeback Mountain would have caught your attention haha. Well, it's not as gay as I expected it would be.. I dunno I'm actually fine with the kissing scenes. Other than the kissing scenes, there is nothing really explicit. Actually the story is more of a tragic romance than gay love show. I don't know, I feel sad watching the ending. The ending is short and sweet. Both actors acted really well. Well, in short, Brokeback Mountain was way better than I expected haha.

Fracture + Last King of Scotland = Happiness overdose. Ryan Gosling and James Mcavoy.. hmm.. (though Mcavoy's hair is horrible haha).

I really wanted to change my blog skin.. but I can't find any high resolution pictures thus far. I'll get back to it when I've un-lazied myself haha.

Time flies and it's already February. So fastttt. Some interesting events in February I guess:
1. A level results
2. SAT results
3. Oscars (if it's still held)
4. My Birthday!! *cough cough cough*
5. Last Photography lesson (and last chance to ________________ =D only someone knows this)
6. Chinese New Year (hong pao!)

Hopefully some more interesting events develop hehe.

Hmm I somewhat have a feeling that I will never ever totally get along with my brother's girlfriend. I found their relationship too one-sided.
